RIP Simon Plint
RIP Simon Plint (26 March 1979 - 28 April 2007)
One of my best friends, Simon Plint, died last night saving another friend. Rest in peace dude.
The story of Simon’s death made it onto the front page of “Die Burger” and “Cape Times” (although they got their facts wrong), and into the “Cape Argus“. Photos of the newspapers below (sorry for the poor quality)…

Simon was a friend of mine from school days. I had not spoken to him for a long time, but am really saddened to hear of his passing.
