There’s this guy that used to be a porn producer - until he gave his life to Christ, and left all of that behind him. Some might think he could never be a “good enough” Christian because of all the “sin in his past”, but sometimes I think he gets the Gospel better than most people. His name is Donny Pauling, and he’s one of my heroes.

People talk “humanistic evolution”, and “secular evolution”, and “no-god just chemicals, energy and time”. People talk that to sound eductated - nobody lives that.

Nobody holds a baby in their arms and kisses that baby, nobody weeps over a grave, THAT way - that is the most ridiculous malarkey that has ever been foisted on the human race. Nobody, nobody in this room lives “godless evolution”. Everybody knows that your love, everybody knows that your hate, everybody knows that your sense of justice, everybody knows that your affections are witness to a dignity flowing from a Maker. Everybody knows that.

You may try to drown it out in a hundered ways, or squish it down in a hundered ways, but you know it when you stand at a grave, you know it late at night, you know it when you fall in love, you know it when you want to fall in love. You’re not a porpoise, and you’re not a monkey.
