I wonder if the creators of that site ever considered that Jesus had piercings… through his hands and feet, not to mention the hole in His side.
I don’t mean to use John 3:16 as a cliché, but “the world” in that verse that God loved, is the Greek word “kosmos”, meaning:
- “the world, the universe”
- “the circle of the earth, the earth”
- “the inhabitants of the earth, men, the human family”
- (and/or) “the ungodly multitude; the whole mass of men alienated from God, and therefore hostile to the cause of Christ“
